Grama Seva at Malliankuppam Village

Summary : With the immense grace and blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Saibaba, Malliankuppam, a small village was identified as part of the GRAMA SEVA. This village is situated 70 kms from Madras. It consists of 320 families. We, the Sai youth wing - Chennai took up the village to conduct seva from the year 2000. We found the school lacking basic facilities and decided to provide those facilities. We ourselves dug the septic tank and renovated the toilet. We also dug the pathway for the water lining at different points to ensure drinking water facility. The school compound was fenced and electricity was provided. The school was newly painted and stationary was provided. A medical camp and two Veterinary camps were also conducted. Vastra Dhanam and Narayana Seva were done at all homes.
This bought a transformation in the youth and they started a rural youth wing in Swamis name. Swamis birthday was celebrated. Two factional groups in the village not in terms for years saw the good work and also dissolved the differences between them and conducted the village festivals in a spirit of unity after 20 years which was supposed to be held every year. They all expressed their gratitude to swami by coming to parthi for darshan organized by the youth wing.
